TOMORROW Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Tomorrow, 12th May, after the 11:00 Eucharist we will hold the annual meeting to receive reports on the life of the parish, and to elect Churchwardens and members of the Parochial Church Council. The annual report may be downloaded in advance of the meeting by clicking here. All members of the Electoral Roll are welcome to join the meeting. Nomination forms for the elections are available at the back of church, or from the Parish Office.
NEXT SUNDAY Baptism, Confirmation & Reception into the Church of England
Next Sunday, 19th May, is the great Feast of Pentecost. At the 11:00 Eucharist, we are delighted that Bishop Michael will baptise, confirm, and receive new members into the Church of England. We hope that you will attend to join in the celebration, and to support the candidates on this important milestone.
Jane McCrum
There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Jane McCrum in church on Friday 24th May at 11:00. Members of the regular congregation will be warmly welcome as we commemorate a faithful and longstanding member of St Paul’s.
Song Recital - Ruairi Bowen
Booking is open for our Spring/Summer recital series, full details of which are available on our website, by clicking here. The first recital will take place on Thursday 23rd May at 7:30pm with Ruairi Bowen (tenor) accompanied by James Orford performing Stanford's Bible Songs, songs by Holst, and Finzi's Dies Natalis in the piano version. Church opening & service times this week
The church is open daily (as far as possible) for private prayer and visits between 8:45am and 5pm. The church building will be closed this Monday 13th for a BBC recording session.
